Nexus Shell 是一款本地化运行的 macOS SSH 客户端。我们尊重你的隐私 — 软件本身不收集、不上传、也不存储任何使用者的隐私数据。

1. 我们不收集什么

我们 不收集 以下任何数据：

  • 个人身份信息（姓名、邮箱、手机号等）
  • 使用行为分析、应用统计、崩溃报告
  • 你连接的服务器信息、命令历史、文件内容
  • SSH 密钥的私钥
  • 任何形式的设备指纹

软件不内嵌广告、不附带统计 SDK，也不会向任何外部服务器主动上报你的使用情况。

2. 数据存储位置

软件运行过程中产生的数据全部保留在你的 Mac 本地：

  • 连接配置与 SSH 密钥 — 以 AES-GCM 加密形式保存在应用沙盒目录（Application Support/NexusShell/）
  • 终端会话内容 — 仅存在于当前进程的内存中，关闭软件后即被清除

3. 必要的网络请求

软件运行过程中只在以下场景发起对外请求：

  • 软件更新检查 — 用于判断是否有新版本可用，请求不携带任何个人身份信息。
  • SSH / SFTP — 你主动建立的远程服务器连接。在这条 SSH 通道里，软件还会执行 SFTP 文件传输、Docker 容器查询、以及为仪表盘读取系统状态（CPU、内存、运行时间等）所需的命令。所有读取到的数据仅展示在你的本地，不会发送给我们或任何第三方。
  • AI 助手（可选） — 仅当你配置了 OpenAI / Claude / DeepSeek 等服务的 API 后，相关请求会直接从你的 Mac 发往你所配置的服务商。Nexus Shell 不参与中转，也不留存请求内容。

4. 第三方服务

以下第三方仅在你主动触发时被调用：

  • 你配置的 AI 服务 — 仅当你启用 AI 助手时

请注意：你发送给 AI 服务商的命令、报错与上下文受 该服务商的隐私政策 约束，请自行评估并遵守其条款。

5. 你拥有的权利

由于我们不收集任何数据，你不需要任何"数据请求"或"数据删除"流程 — 卸载软件即可清除全部本地痕迹。

Privacy Policy

Nexus Shell is a fully local macOS SSH client. We respect your privacy — the app itself does not collect, upload, or store any user data.

1. What we do not collect

We do not collect any of the following:

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Behavioural analytics, usage metrics, or crash reports
  • Server information, command history, or file contents
  • SSH private keys
  • Device fingerprints of any kind

The app contains no ads, no analytics SDKs, and does not actively report your usage to any external server.

2. Where data is stored

Everything the app generates while you use it stays on your Mac:

  • Connection configurations and SSH keys — encrypted with AES-GCM in the app's local sandbox (Application Support/NexusShell/)
  • Terminal session content — held in process memory only, discarded when the app closes

3. Necessary network requests

The app only initiates outbound requests in the following cases:

  • Software update check — used to determine whether a new version is available; the request does not carry any personal identifiers.
  • SSH / SFTP — connections you initiate to your own remote servers. Over this same SSH channel, the app also runs the commands needed for SFTP transfers, Docker container queries, and reading basic system status (CPU, memory, uptime, etc.) for the in-app dashboards. Everything fetched stays on your Mac and is never sent to us or any third party.
  • AI assistant (optional) — only when you have configured an API for OpenAI / Claude / DeepSeek. Requests are sent directly from your Mac to the provider you configured. Nexus Shell does not proxy or retain their content.

4. Third parties

The following third parties are only contacted when you actively trigger them:

  • The AI provider you configured — only if you enable the AI assistant

Note: Commands, error messages and context you send to an AI provider are subject to that provider's privacy policy. Please review and comply with their terms accordingly.

5. Your rights

Because we do not collect any data, there is no "data request" or "data deletion" workflow needed — uninstalling the app removes all local traces.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially in the future, we will announce it in both the app changelog and on this page.
